This Singer Roadster was registered in February 1949 and is showing just two registered keepers on its V5C - although there were no doubt previous owners before the DVLA computerised its records. Its odometer shows shows 77,082 miles. There's no MoT and no record of one as far back as 2005, when online MoT records began, but the Singer is MoT-exempt. The four-seater tourer was given a chassis-up nut-and-bolt restoration during the second decade of the 21st century; the previous keeper to that one, who'd had it for 37 years, had been unable to afford to restore it as a young man attending university and although he did manage to rebuild the engine, he eventually placed it into storage and sold it. It comes with history including the V5C, green log book dating from 1970, technical data and various documents including invoices from the 1970s and ones from the restoration, an MoT from 1974 and letters from the Singer club. There's also some club magazines and a photo album of the restoration work.
