Selling Your Car
We would really like to hear from you about your classic car or motorcycle. Please complete the form below with details of your vehicle and we will be in touch to discuss your potential entry. If you have any questions please do call us on 01553 777444 or email info@angliacarauctions.co.uk
The number of entries has continued to increase and it is important that both of us are happy with the valuation before we proceed. This ensures that we are able to offer the best selection of cars at the right price.
It is helpful to view the car either in person or by email with images. We need information such as service history or other documents, has it been in long-term single/family ownership, does it have its original buff log and or a current V5, is it MoT'd, a description of its general condition both of the exterior and interior, is it running, does it have an original handbook, etc., and what sort of price you are hoping to achieve.
Please complete as much information as possible in the form below.

PAYMENT
Following a successful sale of your vehicle, you will receive cheque payment by the third Thursday following the auction. This is fourteen working days after the sale and assuming full settlement has been made by the buyer. Bank payments can be arranged and will be made by the fourth Tuesday which is seventeen working days after the sale.
UNSOLD
If your car remains unsold, we would like to discuss the two options of either arranging for you to remove the vehicle within an agreed time of two weeks or discussing whether the car may be valid to be re-offered at the next auction.
SPECIAL NOTICE
As soon as it has been agreed that your car will entered into one of our sales, you will need to complete an entry form. This forms the contract between Anglia Car Auctions and you as the Vendor. Withdrawal of the entry prior to the sale is subject to fees. The fees are charged at 14% (+vat) of the reserve price which covers the buyer's premium at 8% and selling commission of 6% plus the entry fee of £125 (+vat). In the case of vehicles offered with no reserve, fees will be calculated based on the auctioneer's expected achievable result.
QUESTIONS
How soon can I drop my car off at the auction?
Usually 2 to 3 weeks following the completion of the previous auction . We have enough undercover space to securely store it for you.
Can ACA collect my vehicle?
We can collect and deliver cars that are to be sold and bought at an ACA auction. Our transport charges are very competitive so please call the in-house team for a quote on 01553 771881. Transportation within a 200 miles radius can be handled in-house utilising either our five car transporter. We usually try to combine deliveries in order to keep costs to a minimum. Please call us for a quote.
What about longer UK delivery options?
We endeavour to collect as many vehicles ourselves as possible but occasionally we are unable to do this competitively for single collections from an area that we are currently travelling to. Transportation over 200 miles is normally arranged through NG Logistics, contact Neil Gaskins on 07909 520579. NG Logistics provides a very efficient, professional and competitive service and have transported many classics for us whether collecting them to be offered for auction or delivering to purchasers afterwards. Neil is always present at our classic sales and able to provide you with an approximate delivery date and quote at the time.
When do I receive the funds from the sale of my vehicle?
Assuming that your vehicle has been paid in full, cheques are posted first class on the third Monday, which is eleven working days, after the auction has been held.
Can ACA store my vehicle?
Storage before and after each classic car auction is free of charge for two weeks. All vehicles are stored under cover with full colour digital CCTV. Please note: Storage as from the June 2020 classic auction will be very limited and it is requested that you organise collection of your vehicle by the following Wednesday in order to arrange parking for the ongoing auctions to operate. Your assistance in this matter is really appreciated.
