This MG TF, the  last of the MG T-series line, was built in 1954, registered in May of that year and exported to Kampala in Uganda in 1955. It returned to the UK in 1975 and was dismantled prior to an intended restoration that didn't happen. It was spotted in a garage by two friends who bought it and then restored it between 2009 and 2013. It has been unused in a garage for the last two years and is now being offered for sale after the brakes, tyres, oil and fuel have been checked over. However, it is noted that the dynamo isn't working. The car does run and drive though, with a fully charged battery. Its hood is described as in good condition as hardly used; the tonneau underside is grubby in places. The odometer shows 21,750 miles and there's no record of an MoT back to 2005, when online records began. However, as an historic vehicle, the MG is now MoT-exempt. Three registered keepers are recorded since the MG was reregistered in June 2015.

There's a huge history file with the MG than includes the current and past V5Cs, comprehensive details of the restoration with photos and costs record, invoices, Heritage Certificate, import information, parts list, manuals and other sundry paperwork essentially covering the car's entire life.
