This rather charming 748cc Austin Seven Chummy has been owned by our vendor for the past three years. It was registered in March 1928, and its odometer now records 7485 miles. There's no record of an MoT back to 2005, when online records began. However, as an historic vehicle, the Austin no longer requires annual testing. A large number of invoices come with the car, with the history stretching back over the last 20 plus years. It was restored circa 2007, with the sympathetic work taking several years. Recent work includes a new battery, full exhaust and fan pulley assembly plus rebuilt speedometer and cable, and new carpets. The weather side screens are also new. Regularly used for local events and stated to run happily on regular unleaded E5 or E10 fuel, recording around 45mpg. Benefits from a professional hydraulic brake conversion and indicators (with audible warning).

The vendor tells us that the car runs well once you get used to the advance and retard controls. The car comes with its V5C, many invoices, technical info, spare parts catalogue, Zenith carburettor instructions, and an October 2022 copy of a local West Norfolk newspaper with a photo of the car at an event.
