1979 YAMAHA RD400 DAYTONA SPECIAL

Our vendor aquired this 1979 Yamaha RD400 Daytona Special to add to his small collection but has now decided that he needs to streamline and so is relucantly selling it. The 398cc bike dates from 1979 but was only imported into the UK and registered here in August 2015. Since then it has had three registered keepers overall.  Its odometer shows 33,966km (21,105 miles) and its last MoT expired in January 2018 after being tested the previous year at an indicated 33,390km. However, as an historic bike, the Yamaha no longer requires annual testing. The vendor isn't aware of any issues with the bike, although has not run it for a year. The only paperwork with the Yamaha is its V5C and 2015 MoT certificate.
