LOT 323
Estimate: £3,000 - £4,000
Remains available
- V5 present
- MoT exempt
- Chassis number: WBAAH1200C6721787
The BMW 320 E21 has received recent work including welding and a full service with all fluids changed plus the rear brakes rebuilt. A new Weber carburettor has been fitted along with six new spark plugs and E30 wheels with rare centre caps as well as brand new tyres. There's also four new Polybushes on the front including the anti-roll bar, along with wheel spacers, an aftermarket alloy radiator and radiator fan with manual switch on dashboard. The vendor regards this as a good condition BMW E21 that is ready to drive away. The 320 was registered in March 1982 and is showing 64,850 miles on its odometer. Its last MoT expired in November 2020 after testing at 62,070 miles the year before. However, as an historic vehicle, the BMW no longer requires annual testing.
The vendor reports that the car runs and drives well but the brakes become spongy after prolonged use with the pedal also not returning to position. They are believed to need bleeding. A sunroof is fitted but leaks slightly. A manual choke conversion has been carried out. Paperwork includes the V5C, some invoices for work and servicing, print-out of online MoT information back to May 2006, and an illustrated parts catalogue. Spares include the original carburettor, chrome window trim, leather to retrim seats, various interior plastic trim parts, side skirts and four wheels.
