This 1979 MGB Roadster has been converted for track and/or motorsport use. It looks to have been restored around summer 1989 (with photos and invoices for £2771.50 on file) with a 1995cc Fast Road-spec Oselli engine also going in around the same time (costing £2051.83). The MG was registered in February 1979 and is showing 14,889 miles on its odometer. Its last MoT expired in June 2015 after being tested the previous year at an indicated 14,690 miles. However, as an historic vehicle, the MG is now exempt from annual testing. The MG runs and drives. A roll-cage is fitted along with a canopy-style hard-top, and the passenger seat has been removed plus other items stripped out for performance purposes. However the original carpets, spare grille and centre console are in the boot. A sticker on the dashboard points to the car having competed at the Curborough Sprint circuit near Birmingham in August 2015.

Documentation with the MG includes the V5C, MG Owners' Club magazines and other sundry paperwork, insurance valuation certificates, 22 old MoTs back to 1987, owner's handbook and Passport to Service with eight stamps up to 49,555 miles in February 1982. There's also the restoration photos plus an Oselli engine specs and spares catalogue.
