1959 JAGUAR XK 150
This Jaguar XK150 fixed-head coupe is showing two keepers on its V5C with its last recorded one since 1986. He had it restored during the late Eighties and then used it around Europe and the USA including a tour along Route 66 with the Jaguar Drivers' Club. However, it has been out of use for a couple of years due to ill-health and will thus require some recommissioning. However, it does run and drive. The car is fitted with chrome wire wheels and a stainless steel exhaust; its carburettors were rebuilt in 2023 but the car has been little used since then. The XK150 was registered in May 1959. Its odometer shows 39,455 miles and the last MoT expired in March 2013 after being tested the year before at an indicated 36,455 miles. However, as an historic vehicle, the Jaguar no longer requires annual testing.
Paperwork with the Jaguar includes the V5C, Autobooks workshop manual, owner's handbook, engine overhaul guide, invoices (many of them relating to the restoration) and the original chassis plate.
