1949 AUSTIN A40 DEVON

This Austin A40 Devon was restored between 2011 and 2013, including a full respray, full leather interior and new petrol tank. It has also been upgraded with flashing indicators in place of the standard trafficators. It is described as running well and reliable, with no known issues. The Austin was registered in September 1949 and has four keepers recorded. Its odometer shows 64,981 miles. Its last MoT expired in May 2013 after being tested the previous year at an indicated 63,806 miles. However, as an historic vehicle, the Austin no longer requires annual testing. Paperwork includes a V5C (albeit not the current one), invoices for the £3530 restoration, other invoices back to the 1960s, MoTs back to the 1970s, photocopy of the original log book, old tax discs and photos. There's also carpet and leather samples.
