1964 MORRIS MINOR CONVERTIBLE
This Morris Minor was completely stripped down during 2023 and 2024, with all necessary welding completed and the body and panels then repainted in two-pack. The 14-month rebuild included lots of new parts and was completed in November 2024. The vendor, who has owned it since 2009, reports that the engine, gearbox and rear axle are all operating smoothly, with the car driven to the sale from Lowestoft. The odometer shows 44,996 miles and the last MoT expired in November 2008 after being tested the previous year at an indicated 44,996 miles. However, as an historic vehicle, the Minor is now MoT-exempt.
The car was built in 1964 but initially registered and used abroad. It was registered in the UK in November 1972. Paperwork includes the current and previous V5C, photos of the Minor undergoing restoration, a large stack of invoices, passenger vehicle data sheet, three Passport to Service books and a BMC accessories brochure.
